A number of heavy weight custom cast bullets are under development. A 400 grain .375 cast bullet is currently under development. It's an LBT design with a gas check. It's a LCFN nose design and will provide maximum penetration for the .375 H&H, .375 Ruger and .378 Weatherby. This custom cast bullet should perform better than conventional solids at a fraction of the cost. The target muzzle velocity is 2100 fps. This moderate velocity will enable the 400 grain hard cast bullet to break large bones and punch through thick muscle and keep going.
Hard cast bullets are the next generation of hunting bullets. They are accurate, easy on the rifling, reliable and inexpensive. You can load them light for target practice or heavy for hunting. Custom cast bullets offer flexibility in weights and designs.

Heavy Weight .458 Cast Bullet
Here is the heaviest cast bullet available for the .458 Winchester Magnum and .458 Lott. It's a 720 grain long flat nose gas check cast bullet. It's designed for maximum penetration and knock down power in the .458 diameter. It can also be used in the 45-90, 45-100 and 45-120. This cast bullet penetrates like a freight train. It's an LBT design and is accurate.
The 720 grain cast bullet can be loaded to 1675 fps from the .458 Winchester Magnum and 1900 fps from the .458 Lott using Alliant 2400 powder. At these moderate velocities, the 720 grain cast bullet penetrates through tough muscle and thick bones. It should be ideal for buffalo, elephant, hippo and rhino.
